I earned my bachelor's degree in psychology from the Harriet L. Wilkes Honors College at Florida Atlantic University in 2011. In 2014, I completed my master's degree in applied psychological research from Penn State-Harrisburg and entered VCU’s social psychology program in fall 2015. Broadly, my research interests are focused on understanding how to promote positive psychological and physical aging processes. I am particularly interested in the effect of mindfulness-based interventions on cognition, health and well-being in older adults.
